おまつり Omatsuri / Summer Festival

This is some video from summer festival in my city Funabashi. I went with Hiro, Keiko, and Megumi. I stayed at Hiro and Keiko's house when I was here on vacation. They live about 15 mins walk from my house now.
Anyway on to the video.

Daytona Beach

This was a trip to Daytona Beach with Justin I went on while I was on my summer vacation.

Megumi's Birthday :)

For her birthday I took her to Tokoy Dome City. Its where Tokyo Dome is and it is also a theme park. Kinda cool and not too far from here. Like 40 mins or something. They have a roller coaster, Ferris Wheel, water ride, a ride like the Hulk at Univ. Studios, haunted house, some resturants, and other stuff to do too.

Anyway it was a great day.. Here is a video from the water ride.. :)

Fireworks

We bought a bunch of fireworks for my trip home party. It was a lot of fun.. My nephew
Connor launched a few big fireworks..

たいふん Typhoon..

Theres now a Typhoon on the way here.. This thing is supposed to be bad and school is closed tomorrow, but for some reason teachers still have to go. That includes me. I'm going to be so bored at work tomorrow. There is absolutely
nothing for me to do if there are no students. Oh well, hopefully the trains wont be going anywhere in the morning so I can't go anyhow.

Backtracking

Well for a few posts I'm going to be doing some backtracking.. What do I mean? You ask.. I mean I will be talking about things I've done for the last few months because I haven't told you guys! Or at least haven't showed you videos and pictures! :P Hope you enjoy...

The first "back track" is back to September 4th / 5th Megumi's birthday. Whose Megumi, you ask?. What?! You really haven't been keeping up with facebook have you??? Check out Facebook and come back when you get your infos updated. :)

Small Things

Aside from missing my family and all of my good friends back home, there are some small things I miss.. One of which is being able to listen to the radio as loud as I want and whenever I want, flying down the interstate with a good beat at 3am doing 80+MPH... Ahh.. Sounds fun. The thrill of driving fast, wondering if there will be a cop around the next corner.. etc. As much as I hate speeding tickets, without the possibility of getting one it wouldn't be quite as fun. I'm probably gonna get a huge speeding ticket when I get back to the USA. I'm surprised I didn't when I was home last time. I was hauling ass everywhere I went trying to burn as much rubber as possible. I do have to say so far out of all the places I've been on this big planet, Florida ranks high as one of my favorites.




I wonder where I will be in a couple of years. Japan? Florida? Korea? Australia? England? France? New Zeland? Who knows, but I'm

thinking of taking a long vacation home during next summer.

Yeah I know I said I'd never have a 'blog because the name is gay.. It is short for web log. Anyway.. I can't run a web server here at my new place because I can't get at the router so this is the next easiest thing.. Nuff geek speak on to the content!

I plan to start loading this thing with pictures and etc. I just really need to start carrying my camera with me.


So I'm trying to think of what Japanesey things I can post about. Really things seem kinda normal and not so different.. Maybe thats just because I've been here a while. That has to be the strangest thing. I remember how strange things were when I first got here.. Now they just seem normal.. Oh I know! I'll write about the car I want to get..

This car costs about $1600 and is a 2001 model with less than 50,000 miles.. Thats just crazy. Used cars are crazy cheap here.. I think I need to get into the car exporting business. Seriously there are a lot of people doing that here.
